It doesn't get any more efficient, professional, and thorough than Octavio and his crew. I used him for a very big move into a 2nd and 3rd story townhouse that I had 5 years ago where I needed the furniture to be FORK LIFTED in! That was the only way we could get my big beautiful and imported furniture into the unit. No job was too big for Octavio. He rented a fork lift and him and his crew SAFELY got all my huge pieces of furniture in as well as assembled them!!! 3 years later, of course I called him again to move it out and the Fork lift appeared again. Not only has he successfully helped me with two MAJOR moves, he has wrapped up and cared for my big pieces of furniture so carefully!! I am a VERY ANAL person with attention to detail & I take very good care of my things, so my furniture CANNOT be harmed in the moving process. Octavio and his movers have never let me down. I recently called him to help assemble and bring in an in fared sauna to my backyard and of course him and a few of his crew came very quickly and handled it no problem. Happy to be the first to review Pronto, after being referred to him by a friend who is a long-time client. As I sat on the floor of my new place eating burritos with the owner Octavio and his worker, I asked why he didn't have reviews on Yelp seeing how he's been in business for ten years. He said basically that they've been word of mouth this whole time, and that he's lucky enough to have many loyal customers who are commercial (interior designers), art installation clients and celebrity clients. So he hasn't really needed Yelp. So I offered to be his first write-up. Octavio showed up right on time with a clean and new Mercedes box truck, and set to work loading my life's belongings. My 1br place took nearly 3 hours to load and 6.5 hours total for the move, at $92/hour. Worth every penny. They never stopped working and, because they're used to moving fine art, they took good care of my breakables. Overall I'm very happy with Pronto and will use them again.

I rarely write Yelp recommendations, however, am compelled to do so when I experience exemplary service. Octavio delivered that exemplary service. He delivered some large and fragile antiques pieces to my home and there were a lot of stairs involved. Most concerning to me was a very large and very heavy French Armoire that needed to be placed upstairs in a loft space and would not fit the spiral staircase leading to the loft. Octavio and his colleague carefully lifted the large piece up and over the stair rails, without touching the rails - they really know what they're doing and the armoire was perfect. The move was flawless and these were very fragile, pricey, antique pieces. I have hired a number of moving and delivery services and was impressed beyond measure by the entire service. Do yourselves a favor and BOOK PRONTO NOW!! After hiring awful movers the first time (do not use Simple Moving), we were desperate to find a credible moving company that would help us move our treadmill. I called Pronto Moving at 6:30 AM on a Saturday and they answered/confirmed our same-day service right away. They sent two amazing guys (Octavio and Omar) who showed up wearing masks, had all of the supplies, and assured us that they had everything handled. They did just that and were able to safely disassemble, move and re-assemble our treadmill (a NordicTrack - one of the largest/heaviest kinds) efficiently. My boyfriend called these guys late at night after a monstrous failure from the moving company we hired during the day. Those movers (skinny kids) couldn't get an armoire over the balcony as promised. I had a deadline to be out of the apartment by New Year's Eve Day and it was now Dec 29 and these kids couldn't get the biggest piece out of the house. So my bf called everyone he could late that night and Pronto said "no problem, we'll be there first thing in the morning" They showed on time, 3 strong professional men and got that armoire out and delivered to our new house- no problem.
